The AAcid research project, funded by the BMWK, deals with the conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the important and versatile chemical building block formic acid. The task of IOLITEC GmbH is to develop a scalable synthesis of bismuth oxide nanoparticle catalysts for the gas diffusion electrode. These are to be generated directly on the catalyst bed of the gas diffusion electrode in a specially adapted reaction.
